This is a step by step process on how to design your own home.
We’ll schedule an initial meeting to find out your vision for your custom built home and the outcomes you’d like to achieve. At this meeting we’ll discuss specifications, time-frames and budgets. This will ensure we understand what stage you’re at.
Drawing from our vast experience, we will then provide you with a proposal that best suits your requirements. Once you’re happy to proceed, you’ll sign a Preliminary Agreement or a Design and Construct Contract. This gives us the go-ahead to proceed with Conceptual Design, 3D Modelling and application for Development Approval with local authorities.
We work with a local team of consultants to achieve ‘for construction’ drawings and specifications. We also take into account your personal selections and finishes schedule. We’ll take care of everything from architectural drawings, structural engineering, BAL assessment and energy efficiency through to obtaining a certificate of design compliance. So you don’t have to stress about any of it.
By obtaining competitive pricing from our team of experienced and local sub-contractors and suppliers, we can firm up and finalise costings for the building stage. A Master Builders contract tailored to your project is also signed.
This is the part we love – and the exciting part for you. You get to experience a stress free construction phase with one point of contact, personal service and quality control. This is achieved through daily visits and a hands-on approach.
On completion of your home, we’ll organise a final inspection with you and give you a hand over pack. You’ll have peace of mind that your home has been built to industry standards, and we’ll only be a phone call away regarding any issues with the build.
